1. INTRODUCTION

   1. ‘We’ refers to DerDieDas and its contractors and ‘you’ and ‘your’ refer to whoever is reading this or utilising our services.

   2. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for using this website and for any services provided to you by our business.​
       

2. ​GROUP COURSES

   1. To secure your seat, we require a non-refundable $50 deposit, which is part of your total course fee. 

   2. We require the remaining payment of your course fee one day before the course starts. 

   3. We require a minimum of 4 students to run a course.

   4. Should we only have 3 students signed up for a class, we reserve the right to shorten the course duration.

   5. Should you have to cancel your course within 3 days (72 hours) of the scheduled first class, we reserve the right to charge $50 as an 'administration fee'. Your remaining course fee will be refunded. Alternatively we can transfer your enrolment to another course.

   6. Should you have to drop out of your course on the same day of the first class, but before taking the class, we reserve the right to keep 25% of the course fee as an “early dropout fee”.

   7. Should you have to drop out of your course after the first class, we reserve the right to keep 50% of the course fee as a “late dropout fee”.

   8. The course fee is not refundable or transferable after the second class of the course.

   9. Catch-up classes can be taken for missed group classes at the current rate for 1on1 private classes.

   10. Transfers between courses are not permitted. Once enrolled, students must complete the course they have signed up for. 

   11. We reserve the right to move students within classes for educational reasons, provided the student is available on the alternative dates and times.
        

3. FEES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE BETWEEN CLASSES AND OTHER STUDENTS.
    

4. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DISCONTINUE TUITION FOR ANY REASONABLE CAUSE.  
    

5. GIFT VOUCHERS

   1. Please note that purchasing a voucher does not guarantee a booking and that waiting periods for a course may apply. Please contact info@derdiedas.com.au to check for available seats. 

   2. Vouchers cannot be transferred, exchanged or refunded. Unused vouchers will not be refunded and cannot be transferred to another student.

   3. Bookings for courses are essential and are subject to space. 

   4. Vouchers are valid for 2 years from the date of the invoice. All classes must be attended before expiry. Unused classes cannot be refunded.

   5. Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer (e.g. discounted group rates). 

   6. Only the person named on the voucher may attend classes booked using that voucher. 

   7. Vouchers are redeemable for German courses only.
       

6. COMMUNITY GERMAN CLASSES

   1. Enrolment: All participants must enrol and pay the $5 fee in advance to secure a spot in the class. Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis.

   2. Payment: The $5 fee is non-refundable. Payment must be made before the class date. Payments can only be made online. 

   3. Cancellations: Same-day cancellations are considered final, and the $5 fee is non-refundable. Participants may request to transfer their ticket to another future class, subject to availability, provided they give a minimum of 24 hours' notice.

   4. Ticket Transfer: Participants can transfer their tickets to another individual for the same class. The organiser must be informed in advance of any ticket transfer. 

   5. Class Changes: The class schedule may be subject to change, and participants will be notified in advance whenever possible. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the class may be rescheduled.

   6. Class Content: The class content is designed for beginners and may cover various topics related to basic language skills. The curriculum may be adjusted to suit the needs of the participants.

   7. Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards the teacher and fellow learners. Any disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the class without a refund.

   8. Liability: The organisers are not responsible for any personal belongings lost or damaged during the class. By enrolling in our German Community Classes, participants acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. 
       

7. 1ON1 CLASSES (Private Classes)

   1. All fees must be be paid before the class starts.

   2. If you wish to cancel the class, you must notify your teacher by 6 pm on the previous day. Otherwise, you will be charged.

   3. Students may cancel scheduled classes by 6 pm the previous day with appropriate communication. Cancellation notice should be done using one/some of the following methods: email, text message or phone call.

   4. When purchasing a block of 10 or 5 lessons, you commit to taking these lessons. Should you wish to cancel your future lessons, a refund cannot be guaranteed.
